St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Youth and Young Adult ministry is committed to the words of Pope Francis that the young people are the future of the Church and that our young people are an important part of our parish community. Our ministry works to offer programs and events that will help the young people of parish grow not in only in their faith but encourage devolvement and ways for our young people to share their gifts and talents with the community.

 The vision of youth and young adult ministry at St. Peter Prince of the Apostles is to meet the spiritual and social needs of our young people by offering variety of programs and events as well as committed leadership, guidance, and support. Youth ministry is geared towards middle and high school youth and young adult ministry is for young adults aged 18-39. Steubenville Youth Conference
Steubenville conference is an outreach of Franciscan University of Steubenville. Steubenville is a series of conferences across North America with a goal that is focused on high school youth (incoming 9th graders through outgoing 12th graders) experiencing the life-changing love of Christ and to be strengthened in their journey of discipleship. This goal is met through conversion, inspirational speakers, fellowship, Sacraments, adoration, and praise & worship. Steubenville takes place at multiple locations in the summer months. 
The next Steubenville will be June 21-23, 2024 in Irvine, TX. More information and sign-ups coming soon!!

National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC)
NCYC is a powerfully unique three-day experience of prayer, community, evangelization, catechism, service, and empowerment for Catholic teenagers (in 9th-12th grade). This conference will include inspiring speakers, interactive exhibits, music & worship, adoration, and mass with high school youth from all over the country. NCYC usually takes place every year in November. 
The next NCYC will be held November 14-16, 2024 in Long Beach, CA. Be on the lookout for more information.

World Youth Day (WYD)
World Youth Day is a global gathering where young people (high school and young adults) deepen their faith, experience the universality of the Catholic Church, and commit their lives to Christ alongside hundreds of thousands of like-minded peers. This gathering of young people takes place about every three years in a different country.
The next WYD will be held in Seoul, South Korea. Be on the lookout for more information.

SEEK Conference
SEEK is a conference led by FOCUS a Catholic outreach organization that shares the hope and joy of the Gospel with the world. FOCUS missionaries encounter people in friendship, invite them into a personal relationship with Christ and accompany them as they pursue lives of virtue and excellence. This conference offers a collegiate track and post-collegiate track for attendees to join their peers to be transformed and encounter Christ. This conference offers fellowship, prayer, entertainment, and inspirational speakers to help deepen the faith of attendees.
The next SEEK will be held January 1-5, 2024 in St. Louis, MO. Be on the lookout for more information.

Teen ACTS retreat
Teen ACTS is a four-day, three-night co-ed Catholic retreat that focuses on bringing teens into a deeper relationship with God and reignite their faith through Adoration, Community, Theology, and Service (ACTS). This retreat is offered for high school youth and is put on by teens, young adults, and adults of our parish.

San Antonio Youth and Young Adult Events
For youth, these events are scheduled by the Archdiocesan Pastoral Center for Youth Ministry. These events are offered city-wide and gather the youth of San Antonio together for local events that will deepen their faith and provide fellowship with like-minded youth close to home. This includes events like Youth Spectacular, Catholic night at sporting events and more.
For young adults, these events are scheduled by the Archdiocesan Pastoral Center for Young Adult Ministry. These events are offered city-wide and gather young adults of San Antonio together for local events that will deepen their faith and provide fellowship with like-minded youth close to home. This includes events like Theology on Tap, Worship on River, Catholic night at sporting events and more.

Parish Youth and Young Adults Events
These events are scheduled by the Youth Minister of Our Lady of Grace for not only fellowship and community building, but also to help deepen, strengthen, and understand the Catholic faith.
For youth this would include offering Edge (middle school) and Life Teen (high school) program, day retreats, lock-ins, community service projects and so much more.
For young adults this would include offering discussion nights, social events, retreats, community service projects, and so much more.

 

Youth ministry is open for all youth in middle school and high school. the vision of youth ministry is to meet the spiritual and social needs of our youth by offering a variety of programs and events as well as providing commited leadership, guidance, and support.
