Matrimony is the sacrament in which a man and a woman enter into a lifelong union of love and commitment before God and the Church. Through their vows of mutual love and fidelity, the couple becomes a sign of Christ's love for His Church and receives the grace to fulfill their vocation as spouses and parents. Matrimony is a sacred covenant in which husband and wife are called to support and nurture each other in faith, to create a loving and stable home for their family, and to witness to the beauty of Christian marriage in the world.
At our Parish, we are honored to celebrate the sacrament of Matrimony with couples who are preparing to enter into this sacred covenant. Our pastoral staff offer support and guidance to engaged couples as they prepare for the sacrament. This preparation includes instruction in the Church's teachings on marriage, opportunities for discernment and reflection, and practical advice for building a strong and lasting marriage.
If you and your partner are discerning the sacrament of Matrimony or if you have questions about marriage preparation, we invite you to contact our Parish office. If you are engaged and would like to speak with our Pastor about scheduling your wedding please contact the Parish office to set up a meeting at least 6 months before your desired wedding date. Our pastoral staff is here to assist you in preparing for this joyful and sacred moment in your life as a couple and as members of the Church.
